Classroom Setup Guidelines

Classroom Setup

Classroom Setup Requirements

When we come on site we provide our own multi-media equipment. We do so for three reasons. The first is an attempt to provide an enriching environment as possible for those in attendance. We attempt to make any classroom, whether it’s a hotel conference room or academy, a state of the art environment. The second is an attempt to be as near a turn-key operation for you as well. Once you provide us a classroom, hopefully your work is all but done. Thirdly, so we are familiar with and can properly operate the equipment.

Room Size
The ideal room allows us to use a projection system, at least one 84-inch screen, two white boards, a BOSE surround system and a number of peripherals on tripods. You can see the need to allow set-up the previous day. Ideally, we like to have a classroom that is 40' across the front and ad least 20' from the front wall to the first row of participant seats or participant table with at least an 8' Ceiling and preferably 12'. However, over the last 30 years we have made just about every conceivable arrangement work. We simply adjust. The room obviously needs to be comfortable for the number of participants that are anticipated.

Lighting
Fluorescent lighting and natural light greatly diminish the effectiveness of the projection systems we use for the computer images and videos. If possible, fluorescent lighting needs to be controlled by the instructor to allow for good lighting in the room. We need ample lighting to be able to maintain good eye contact with the participants but at the same time we need to ensure that the lighting does not affect the center and two side screens. Our projectors create 4500+ lumens which will work in most environments if there is little or no direct or fluorescent light on the screens themselves.

Seating
Participants should be in comfortable seating with tables. Class
room style is the preference and works well for all our seminars. We want to thank you for your time and effort to make this seminar the best possible experience for your participants. Should you have any questions, please contact Eric Laughton on my cell: 716-949-6405
